La Asociacion Chilena-Canadiense de Calgary es una
Asociacion de personas, de caracter comunitario, amplia y democratica,
humanitaria cuyo compromiso es preservar y desarrollar las raices
historico-culturales del pueblo de Chile. La orientacion filosofica de la organizacion comunitaria es la de respeto a los individuos y a los distintos criterios politicos y religiosos de sus miembros, asi como tambien a los principios de justicia social y solidaridad humana. No persigue afanes proselitistas. Se adhiere plenamente a la carta fundamental de los derechos humanos de la ONU. |

"Principles of social justice and human solidarity." The goal of the Chilean Canadian Community Association of Calgary is to maintain, develop and promote the social, cultural and historic roots and values of the people of Chile in an open, democratic and humanitarian manner. We also intend to represent and assist the Chilean community in all aspects of Canadian society; to help members of the Association to obtain access to and participation in the social, political, cultural, educational, sporting, and economic life of Canada; and to enhance opportunities for members in our Association to maintain and develop all aspects of the Chilean community. Our philosophy is to respect the individual political and religious choices of each of our members. We fully endorse the United Nations Human Rights Declaration, and are founded on principles of social justice and human solidarity. |
